Karen is our dedicated Children & Families worker and is involved in a variety of worship and outreach activities and events, working together with volunteers from across the circuit. This includes regular activities such as Busy Bees (a carer and toddler group), Godly Play, Story Keepers (an after-school Christian Club), Breakfast Church (formerly Seedlings & Groundbreakers), and Cafe Church.
Karen is passionate about offering creative, relevant, fun and informal ways for children and families to meet with God and to grow in faith. As such she has led a wide range of in- and outreach initiatives in the circuit which include outdoor church, LEGO events, seasonal craft activity mornings, Zoom Church, a Nativity Escape Room and Camping Sunday.
Karen is mum to Alex (21), Isabel (19), and Meria (3) a Romanian rescue dog. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, photography and reading. She is also a self confessed swiftie :-).
