Welcoming our new Superintendent Minster – Revd Tim Morris

On Saturday 6 September 2025, over 100 people descended on Bakewell to attend the Welcome Service for the Peak Circuit’s new Superintendent Minister – the Rev Tim Morris and his family, wife Alison and sons Samuel and Jacob. They were accompanied by other family members and friends from far and wide, including Tim’s two previous Circuits in Ashbourne and Bingham. The service was led by the Sheffield District’s new Chair of District – Rev Vicky Atkins – and contributions were made by Rev Geoffrey Clarke, the East Midlands Moderator of the United Reformed Church, Rev Julie Coates, Deputy Chair of the Sheffield District, various Ecumenical Partners from the area and representatives from the Circuit Stewards and Church Members of the Peak Circuit. Refreshments were provided from contributions throughout the Circuit – and a lovely time of tea and fellowship was enjoyed following the Service as Tim was welcomed into his Ministry amongst us.
